SanDisk Range

SanDisk Extreme Portable Pro + SanDisk Extreme MicroSD.

When it comes to storage one name should spring to mind, well it does for me, and that name is SanDisk.

They cover us from SD, micro SD and hard drives and that’s what I use myself for my storage needs, and that’s what this review will cover…

Two storage devices from the same company SanDisk and the first is my SanDisk Extreme 256 GB microSDXC Memory Card which I have for my GoPro hero Black 9. Fast reliable storage is needed for 4k video recording and so many fake unreliable cards are out there, but when you get the right one direct from the maker you know you got it good. The reliability is renowned from SanDisk and there speeds of up to 160 MB/s, giving it the Class 10, UHS-I, U3, V30 spec’s is what you need to get that 4k+ footage recorded and saved without any issues.

I have 3-4 of these and they can each give me a good 8 hours of 4k footage from my GoPro setup for my Helmet for them amazing videos I create for my viewers on YouTube 🙂 Yep plug away for me…. But once I got that footage saved to my memory card I need to transfer it to my Apple MacBook M1 for editing and that starts with my need of a large external drive…. And once again I head over to SanDisk for there blistering SanDisk Extreme PRO 2TB portable NVMe SSD which is connect direct to my thunderbolt port on my laptop given me the most amazing spec speed for video editing.

I get an outstanding 2000MB’s that’s like a 5gb file in seconds :O allowing me to easily work direct from my external drive with no issues of speed, not only is it one of the fastest on the market currently, it hosts some other great specs, and features…. Its carries a up to two-meter drop protection and IP55 water and dust resistance, as well as a 5 year warranty too which is why its the best out there in my view, thou the speed is what makes it the top dog on harddrives.

Having just a 256GB internal storage adding this £300 drive gives me all the space I need to work with 4k+ video files and render them without any issues, no more lack of space and the speeds to match them internal specs means no slow downs on the work log. Well worth every penny that’s for sure, and the fact it comes so portable makes me drool every time I look at it.

So if you need storage pretty much of any kind then SanDisk is where you need to start, let alone finish. Totally a 10/10 company and well if I could 11/10 for its products.
