Spotlight Bracket

Mounting Bracket for Spotlight (Adjustable) Alright, me fellow bikers, let’s talk spotlight mounting – specifically, the unsung hero of any spotlight setup: the bracket itself. I’ve used a fair few in my time as biker, hmm thats now heading into 36 years now, Ouch I am getting old, anyways back on track, most spotlights are just a fixed mounting bracket, based on the lights being adjustable on its own bracket, but when you have a set up like mine its more about making it OCD proof 🙂 First Impressions of the Bracket Ok, lets start with how they are made, …

Robot Vac

Laresar Robot Vacuum Cleaner with Mop. This purchase has been one of the best decisions I have made in a long time. This made my daily routine so much easier, and I’m still happy every time I see it doing an effective cleaning job around our home. I bought this robotic vacuum specifically to avoid the constant bending over required to clean up after my wife’s pet rats. They have a really large cage, and they create loads of mess around and under there cage often and some times as much as sometimes 3-4 times a day I will end …

EzCAN II Sahara

HEX ezCAN Accessory Manager for the Honda Africa Twin ES Adventure Sports 2023. The only solution to be able to Customise additions to your bike, be it lights to horns without messing up your warranty. I do love a set of spot lights, but with having a new bike thats still in warranty means there are only the Honda own or after market ones which could end up invalidating your warranty depending on how they are installed, and thats something I do not want to happen. So the option around this is using the Ezcan system which plugs into the …

QL Damper Update

I wanted to do a updated post on my Quadlock setup since the issue with the damper failing a few months back. As a quick refresh on Quadlock system, they are the most known and common used way to mount phones for various vehicles and one that I personally have used for many a years without any issue, but a little while ago I ended up having a problem with my setup (below) and had to contact Quadlock UK for support as my damper gave in and would not lock on my wireless module from them which lead to my …

VEGER Portable Charger

Ok loved the idea of this, and it does what it says to a degree thou, looks amazing and really handy but….. 3 things would make this a 5* product, but it does wireless charge you Apple Watch when you need it the most, more of a backup item that something you would use alot. First thing is make it what it says it is, 1200mah, maybe it is but it says 3 charges you can get, I just got one charge on my Apple Watch Ultra (v1) and it was already dead :(. Ok it’s easy to recharge the …

Touratech Comfort Seat

Touratech Comfort Seat brought from Rugged Roads. When it comes to comfort the stock seeds is not one of the things that needs some help, and from day one I have been looking at ways to resolve this. On my previous Africa Twin I went to a local upholsterer who replaced the foam and put three layers of memory foam to pad it out which worked really well and at a great cost (£100 for front and back). This time I wanted to go for a seat that was pre-made so I was able to keep the original, so if …
