MadCow / UC Wheel Cleaner

MadCow / UC Cleaning Products – Acid Free Wheel Cleaner. I brought these from Madcap via their eBay sales page on an auction, so ended up a good deal, especially for 4 different products. First being tested is the Wheel Cleaner, which is an acid free version. I used many items to clean my wheels, with the back one being always the worst due to not only brake dust & dirt but the good old chain oil which is never a fun job. Normally I used quick and easy chemicals like Holts which is safe to use around brakes, also Paraffin …

Dr Downpipe

Dr Downpipe Motorcycle Exhaust Cleaner – 500ML Spray Bottle. Yep another cleaning review again, and this time something a little different. Exhaust cleaning that comes in the form of Dr Downpipe spray cleaner. I been a follower of his work for a while and it was time I did some dedicated cleaning on this area, so placing my order via Amazon I hoped it would arrive quick, but no matter were you order it seems a week delay on it arriving. So placing my order and then booking the time in my head to do it at the following weekend …

Detailing Brushes

5 Piece Detail Brushes. Something cleaning related that I have not used before or needed too that’s now become a staple…. Yep the detailing brushes that car owners use more than us bikers, but is that all about to change. When having a good clean of your babies getting into the small awkward areas is something I always used a microfibre cloth with a thin piece of wood like a chop stick, or even a tooth pic just to do a deep down clean, but that’s now ended. With a decent set of detailing brushes you can pretty much cover …

AutoBead Sealant

Autobead Spray Sealant. Talking care of your bike is a task I do every day, from the daily checks of bulbs, to break levels to working brakes, but for me its also keeping my bike clean and protected, and that’s were Autobead Sealant comes out to play. Once you have a clean bike using a good quality sealant to protect that paintwork for me is a must, and that now comes from a professional detailer (PADS – yep I also reviewed them). They brought this to my attention and since then its a stable in my cleaning resume. Just a …

IK Snow Foam

Goizper iK Foam Pro 1.5L – Foaming/Snowfoam Sprayer. Dirty bike is a no no for me, and that means I will spend loads on cleaning gear, in fact its a weak spot of mine….. This time its a snow foam solution from IK which I purchased last year and have used a good few times.  It’s a practical item that just covers enough to snow foam a single bike, and with a decent PH natural snow foam liquid it works well to give a real snow foam covering. What I like about the IK system is that it comes with …

Starbrite AutoXpert

Starbrite AutoXpert Waterless Wash. Winter equals wash time more I find, with all the salt on the roads and wet weather our bikes just get hammered with dirt, so cleaning is something most of us will do, and one cleaning solution is using a waterless wash, and the most recent one I have brought is this @Starbrite AutoXpert version.  Waterless wash is one of the better ways I find to clean my bike on a regular basis, of course when it comes to a real messy bike I will go to the snow foam side with buckets and hoses, but …

Shift Waterless Wash

Shift Waterless Car Wash Solution. You all know what I am like for cleaning my pride and joy, and I still clean her near on every time I get back from a ride, which is why she stays in great condition, but when it comes to what I use to do that cleaning is a range of high end products. The main one is a decent waterless detailer, now normally this comes in the form of a spray liquid that contains a few chemicals like a cleaning agent and a wax to allow you to do a full clean on …

Muc-Off Foam Fresh

Muc-Off foam fresh helmet cleaner. I brought this a while ago and did not get round to using it much until the summer time kicked in, but like so many of the products I buy they don’t aways reach the length of getting reviewed for the site, but with the summer over and preparing for the winter this came back out, and its back in use to clean and sanitise my biking gear for storage. This stuff is simple to use and what makes it effective is its price (Under £10) and it can be used on a few different …

PADS Detailing

Polished to Perfection Auto Detailing.  I always been one myself for maintaining and cleaning my bikes, and yep pretty much every time I take my little “Toothless” (V-Strom) for a ride, she will be cleaned on return. Why you may ask, part ocd, and part respect for her doing her job so well and wanting to keep her in top condition. So being this way it been a thing I wanted done is a professional clean to her, and when I looked around there maybe a few places to have it done, but wanting to respect local crafts I know of …
